WT - Time Warp meme

Managed to finish one thing before I go on my trip I wanted to do some fresh M&M ship art but ran out of time, so decided to finish something old with them in it ahhhhh ((will do new stuff with them when I return xD)). I also just wanted to do this meme lol. I love time warp memes :V though as a black wisp, Matthew doesn't actually age so I did it as past/present/future instead of different age groups since it would be more interesting that way. I also wanted an excuse to draw Matty's "true form" from his world, since I haven't done much art of it for the group yet even though it's a big part of his past.

Past - Living in his home world, a land with no sense of measurable time, Matthew lived as a shapeshifter black wisp at the base of old whitewashed ruins where four dying worlds are pieced together, a place he refers to as Tetri. Matthew was born looking exactly as what his original was like when his original had died, but also has a "black wisp true form" which appears as a giant black dog with many blue, opaque circular eyes covering its body, giving it a 360-degree sense of vision of its surroundings. The true form is giant, monstrous and comes in multiple varieties other than its regular form, like the Anubis form, Cerberus form and Xolotl form. As a powerful black wisp, this true form could be grown to a size larger than a sports stadium. Matthew's life was simple during this time. The black hole that had created him provided him with all the energy and sustenance he ever needed, so he never had to sleep, eat or drink, and healed very quickly. His whole live was spent acting on alert for other wisps ((both of the black and white varieties)) and fighting whichever wisps crossed paths with him. Every battle was to the death and Matthew has no idea how many wisps he had killed during his existence in Tetri. He was not the person we know now and had a one-track mind for instinctual battles against other wisps. He was also much much more powerful in Tetri than after leaving because the black hole's power given to the black wisps ((something Matthew can't access outside of his home dimension)).

Present - Matthew currently lives life happily on the World Train, feeling as if he had really found an actual home and is currently learning all kinds of things about life from Rathera, Pumpelo, Millia and his experiences on the Train. He is learning about having friends and all sorts of things he had never thought about before coming to the Train, shifting his character development and personality greatly. He has learned to be a lot more content with life and experience actual happiness. It has made him a more playful person, especially when hanging around his new big brother Rathera, who shows him all sorts of things and helps him gain more confidence on missions. Working together, Matthew acts as the brains to Rathera's brawn and firepower, allowing them to both work really well together in even the most dangerous of missions. Rathera has learned more about strategy from Matthew, too, and has learned he can trust the wisp's decision making in tight situations. Matthew doesn't have even a fraction of the power he had in his home world but knows he can always have Rathera to back him up and make up for what he doesn't have! Matthew is now roommates with the Timekeeper and continues to grow his personality into someone who is much more well-adjusted and content than when he first came to the Train. What Matthew doesn't realize is... slowly but surely... his fragment of a soul has grown some new pieces... pieces that are unique to him and not his original. Even though his life outside of his home world is short, he believes Millia when she tells him she will find a way to save him. Matthew has a massive crush on Millia and despite Rathera and some others telling him to confess already, he remains unable to really tell her what he thinks of her deep down. Perhaps he is afraid to... or doesn't want to ruin what he has with her by making things awkward. He wants to stay close to her and spend lots more time with her, though, and has daydreams with her often. Too often.

Future - The future everyone hopes for Matthew to have... one where Millia found the solution to his survival and where he can live happily. A future where the baby boom meme hiyopu made comes true, too xD fav.me/d8mgm6j LITTLE MITTY BOY. ONE DAY. ONE DAY. EVERYONE'S HOPES AND DREAMS WILL BE REAL. HAPPY ENDING. YEAH! And the clothes there, Matthew actually has those now but I'm always too lazy to draw his full wardrobe so I always draw him in same clothes every time pfft. It's some of his traditional clothes from when he lived at the monastery in the Caucasus and Mitty gets the scarf someday hehe. Also borrowed Millia's design from her time warp meme :'D

THAT IS THE STORY YAAAAAY. Matty goes from super dark emo monster thing to living happily ever after with his fave girl <3 all while having tons of adventures along the way.
