The steep slopes of Stormr's great mountains were not enough to dissuade Olallie from ascending into the clouds; clouds that were soft in texture and lifting into the sky. These very clouds had dumped snow onto Stormr during winter's grasp, but as spring was emerging, they came into a silent acknowledgement that their time to move on had come. The temperatures across Helvalla had risen and the snow in the lower elevations had begun to melt, creating tricking streams through meadows and forests, and fresh growth of grass and flowers had emerged, adding color to the once-white and frigid world. Olallie made sure to be careful with her step as snowdrifts that appeared solid on the surface could easily be hollow below, creating a fragile crust that onefel could fall through if not careful enough.
